"How does kudzu work? Kudzu may actually work as a CH preventative in two ways. It has calcium channel blocking properties, similar to Verapamil. It may also act on 5ht receptors in the brain, essentially ?blocking? the pain.
What other uses does kudzu have? Kudzu had been used in Chinese medicine for both migraine and as a liver tonic. Recent studies show it is an effective aid in addiction/alcohol recovery as well."

topomax is used for migraines as well, so im assuming the kudzu acts in the same way in the brain as the topomax does..

when I up the Topamax dose, it gives me a headache...

Capt, be careful with topa, it lowered my heart rate to a very low level with minium dose, it is rare but can happen
