Whats your affirmation for the day??????

I never drink before dinner and I stick to the daily/ weekly limits that I have set for myself.

No more than 4 drinks a day and no more than 12 drinks a week. 4 Af days per week.

This is what makes moderation work, sticking to the limits one has set for themselves.

Whats your affirmation for the day??????

                              Affirmations for Alcoholics

Here is my exhaustive list. Some of these are variations from the My Way Out CDs. I wanted to write out things that would work for me to take into my world. You can change them to read "I" instead of "You" if you so choose...

All alcohol cravings and urges rapidly vanish like water on a hot summer?s day.
You always remember the negative consequences of excess drinking.
Your cravings have been replaced with desires to take healthy actions.
Your cravings and urges to drink alcohol have been blocked by your unconscious before they reach my conscious awareness in a way that works and is most beneficial to you now.
The sight or thought of alcohol thankfully reminds you that you have chosen to be healthy now instead.
Many people far worse off than you had been had successfully gained control over their drinking and thus so can you.
You easily and naturally tell others you don?t want a drink and you really mean it.
Whenever you think of alcohol you easily remember that it doesn?t give you much.
You no longer have any problems with alcohol.
The sight or sound of shots being poured reminds you of how happy you drink responsibly now and your body, clear eyes and amazingly healthy looking skin thanks you.
You sip slowly when you drink because you are a sipper, not a gulper.
The craving signal to drink is rapidly diminishing more and more as your body is having a hard time finding it.
I am stronger than my cravings ? what doesn?t kill me makes me stronger.
I care more about people in my life than I do about the bottle.
Your life is happier now that you drink moderately and take Naltrexone 1-hour before you ever drink.
You are getting all kinds of new tasks accomplished now.
You see yourself telling the waiter that you don?t want another drink, and really meaning it.
You think carefully about the consequences of drinking too much.
You give yourself all the time you need to make lasting changes.
You act as if you no longer have any problems with alcohol. You fake it until you make it.
You accept that your body may have cravings or urges that you can face and not give into.
The sound and sight of shots being poured reminds you of how over drinking to excess you are now.
You can visualize all your supplements working miracles in my body now.
Problems bother you only to the degree you let them.
You accept that even if your body was prone to liking alcohol too much you can now create and practice new things.

Whats your affirmation for the day??????

I think the most important one for me personally as I am prone to many bouts of utter impatience is:

You give yourself all the time you need to make lasting changes.
