What the term "Drunk at the tissue level" means? I herad this term on some tv show once where they were talking about alcoholics. I've been curious ever since as to its meaning, especially wondering if I've ever been drunk at the tissue level. Sounds pretty serious! Anyone familiar with this term?

Yeah I couldn't find anything in my searches either. i THOUGHT it was supposed to be a medical term as I saw it on some show....like a serious show about alcoholics or something. Might have been Dr. phil actually, I think he was giving some lady a hard time about drinking. I don't know I just saw a little of it while I was gettign ready for work one day. That was like a year ago and I've been dying of curiosity ever since. Lol dammit I'll never know!Comment

Yeah I really have no idea what it meant, but from the tone of the conversation it sounded pretty sinister, hence my curiosity.
As drunk as I've been I HAD to have been that way...I just want to know when it was. You know, maybe it would provide a medical frame of reference as to how bad things were (and can get again if I fall of the wagon).Comment

Hey, folks. Try looking up "mechanisms for alcohol induced tissue injury". Basically info on how alcohol effects every single tisse in the body, etc. The more we drink the more harm we do. Duh!
Anyway, I also tried to look up Dr. Phil show and thought I'd check show archives, but I am house sitting and this pc I'm using has alot of sites blocked and I don't want to mess with someone else's settings - lol. So you may want to look his site up as well.

Believe, it sounds like something that Dr Phil would make up, just to make his point that the lady was SO drunk that every pore~ every tissue~ was drunk.....
