I am going to add congratulations to everyone else's because being pregnant is a huge blessing, even if it is not always expected.

That's amazing... my husband and I were just talking yesterday about what we would do if we had an unexpected pregnancy and my oldest will be 21 next week. Had him way young, but lots of women are having babies in their forties now, so its not uncommon anymore. I would be really shocked too though... if you think you are done, and then to start over. But plenty of people do and you can do it I'm sure! A blessing in disguise....

Jacqui, the baby will keep you and your husband young. I know it is hard thinking about all the bad sides of having a baby ie. no sleep, more laundry, no sleep, packing for a trip to the grocery store, no sleep, spit up, no sleep, dirty diapers, baby sitters, and on and on.

Then there are all the good things about a baby ie. baby's smiles, baby's smells, baby's love, baby's learning, baby's personality, baby's hugs, baby's warmth, baby's gifts, baby's opportunities, and on and on.

I love babies, but I hate not sleeping. That was mama bears time alone with baby... mostly. ha ha Think about holding a baby of your own again. WOW

You will do fine, and hubby will probably be happy about it if he takes a little time to realize what a wonderful gift this is for you both.
