                  Shik is right.. it is a word often used in Yoga.. In that context it usually means.. I bow to you.. In a salutation it is used more in these contexts:

                  "I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me."
                  "The divine peace in me greets the divine peace in you."
                  "Your spirit and my spirit are ONE."
                  "That which is of the Divine in me greets that which is of the Divine in you."
                  "The Divinity within me perceives and adores the Divinity within you".

                    Thanks, MM! I used to do yoga videos by Sara Ivanhoe and she always say Namaste at the end of the video. That's where I picked it up from

                            as I begin my attempt at AF again (day 1 today), I find such strength in your words.

                            I want desperatelyu to believe I will have my day soon.
