SNOW .. bloody hell
whatever makes you feel better up there... LOL! (just kidding)
You're right -- summers are really hot, but at least we have the ocean, and its still nice I think. And winter is one long Spring.... 70 on average and blue skies for four months, with an occasional flirt of winter dipping into the 30's. Last month we had a cold snap and actually got down to 16 degrees and it SNOWED here for about 45 minutes... just little flurries. It was fun... everyone freaked out, and two days later it was 75 again. Hope it warms up for you guys soon!If you do not live the life you believe, you will believe the life you live.

SNOW .. bloody hell
Dexter, come on down!!! Betty Boop just arrived from the UK to escape some wintry weather, and it looks like we might have a mid-winter, flip-flop get together here. Just be sure your toes are painted. If you do not live the life you believe, you will believe the life you live.

SNOW .. bloody hell
Hi dexterhead,
Snow is a huge trigger for AL coming to the house. When there is a huge storm predicted (not that we have had one yet this year in New Jersey), we have to go out and buy bread, milk, eggs, water, and wine....that's it.
So I guess you are getting all the snow. We have had just enough snow to mess up the already messed up traffic here in NJ. It's too dangerous driving to work with thousands of other commuters who can't even drive in the dry weather.....add snow to that, and it's enough to make you want a drink, or two, or three......
I want summer !!!!Miss October :blinkylove:

SNOW .. bloody hell
:damn: :damn: Had to bump this thread because there is a F-&*&)ING FULL SCALE BLIZZARD GOING ON HERE. schools are closed yet i had to drive thru solid white to get to work. I HATE SNOW ALMOST AS MUCH AS I HATE AL.
They are both attractive at first, a little seductive .. but too much of either one is horrid :damn: Thank you for allowing me to bitch. You will find me in the spring, frozen solid like Jack Nicholson in "The Shining" .... with a crazed grin still locked on my ice-ridden face:H:boxer: Get the hell out of my house, Al, you worthless bastard!!

SNOW .. bloody hell
Oh MY GOD!!! I don't know the total yet, but maybe 15-18 inches. I got to work at 8, left at 2:30, and there was at least a foot of snow on my car. guess it was even worse to the southeast. I have heard there are cars all over the city just abandoned in the middle of street, because everybody just got stuck, because the plows just couldn't keep up. I live pretty close to where I work, but getting home was truly scary. now tomorrow have to somehow dig my car out .. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!:boxer: Get the hell out of my house, Al, you worthless bastard!!

SNOW .. bloody hell
Dexter,
Weather is a blessing and a curse. If you don't lose your home it's a blessing. If you do it's a curse. I've recently been through three hurricanes (Jean, Francis, & Wilma) and have not yet fully recovered to a point of feeling secure with mother nature. Probably a good thing. The point is... extreme weather really tests you. I can relate to your weather woes and hope that you can put some good weather times in the bank to compensate for the snow woes.
Regards,xox
Fby

SNOW .. bloody hell
What is this snow that you speak of? Just kidding..lol. I have extremely "thin blood", grew up in southern california then 20 years in hawaii. Our family would take a vacation to the mountains for a week-end of snow play once a year or so. I don't know if I could survive a winter of snow. so hang in there snowbirds. Your are strong and brave. :specs:sigpic
