hey tawny...yes...I have scoured the house and all the ditches...my house...they wouldn't hide...my babies always come when they are called...i am SO heart broken...my thoughs are getting negative...neibours etc.....

keeta ... I also live in a small town, quite remote. My nearest (arsehole) neighbour was overheard saying that if he ever saw a cat on the road, he'd run it down. My cats went missing and I immediately suspected him.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but my cats reappeared, unharmed - days later. I have no idea where they went.

Don't give up hope.

You keep referring to the neighbors... do you have reason to believe the neighbors would harm them? Have there ever been cross words about your cats?

I'm off to bed, but I am so sorry they are still gone. Yes, I have been that attached before, and yes you are NORMAL. We are grieving right along beside you, and rest assured, if we were there physically, we would be doing the all night cat hunt!

Maybe we are weird, but that's okay. Cats need us.

Me too Keeta - this is just AWFUL. I can't believe how awful. I'm praying for them to be home safe too. I would be falling apart. Really falling apart. Please kitties get home.

Lucky, thank you for the candle...I am simply heart sick.

Tawny...(arsehole) neighbour :H yeah, I have a few of those! I can't seem to let myself believe they are really gone, but it just seems like such a long time to be away for three cats to go, that usually are out less than an hour at a time, and rarely "together". I have two other cats... Thomas, the brother to destiny and garfield...chloe is their momma...and I have Oscar...my oldest, and unrelated cat. (OK, yes I am a crazy cat lady :H )

P4T...no, never cross words. I do know cats can find a favorite "potty place"...and if it happens to be someones garden, maybe they got angry????...but all three???...I am simply baffled....arggggh.....I drove around yesterday, head out the window, calling for them..looked in trees, and ditches....it is like they simply vanished.

marcie and wonder......sadly no sign of them yet....:upset: It is SO cold at night I can't even allow myself to think of them out there...my poor babies...why can't they just come home????:upset:

thank you all for your support and prayers...and just a place to let it out....just when I think I couldn't possibly cry any more...I see a favorite sleeping spot of one of them...and the water works begin again.....

How long have they been gone? Maybe they have just gone for a little trip and will soon return, we invest so much in our furry and othewise friends. My horse has just been ill and thank god is now better, vet said he had spleen cancer, now not the case, was going to be put down, I thought I would die too, keep strong we are all calling out for them xx

all three went missing Sunday...exact times I am not sure...as I was out of the home for about 3 hours early in the day (hubby and kids were home), and then busy making nachos, and wings, etc for Super Bowl for everyone...I know "for sure" all three never came around after 4 or 5pm Sunday.

I am SO glad your horse is better. Pets are family...heck, maybe even better than family...they offer complete, and unconditional love...pure love...wahhhh...here come the water works again.

This is so sad, keeta. I am a huge animal lover, especially one of kitties.

Can you phone your local animal shelter? If your neighbour has been abusive towards your animals in the past, or has threatened it, the animal control can go and talk to him. Just a thought.

I am sending prayers your way. You must be beside yourself. I know I would be. Hang in there!!!!

I have 3 babies, always have had cats, tho now I have a dog too. Once Boop was missing a couple of days. We went all over the neighborhood calling, I was devastated. The third day I called while walking to the garage............and I heard her. And you know you know your baby's meows, all of them distinctive to you, their mother. He had gotten locked in a garage somehow. I pounded on the house, and they let him out. I scolded him all the way back to the house, holding him tight as he meowed some silly explanation!!

So don't dispair hon. If they hang together such a thing could happen to them too. And though it's been cold, you know they can cuddle up w/each other.

I'm thinking big positive thoughts for you and your babies. :h :l
