Things that make you happy.

I thought it would be nice to start a thread on what makes us happy, here are some of mine.
1.Getting a hug from someone I care about.
2.Getting out of bed and being grateful for being given another day.
3.Hot chocolate with squirty cream.
4.Getting into a freshly made bed.
5. Laughing until my sides ache.
6.Watching the sun go down in the summer.
7.No queues at the checkouts when I am in a rush lol.

Things that make you happy.

1. Seeing a smile on my daughter's face
2. Making someone else happy
3. Sunny days spent in woodland areas
4. Being in the company of friends/family
5. Listening to music
6. Feelings of achievement/a sense of purpose/contentment..etc
7. A winning lottery ticket ( And don't give me that money can't buy you happiness crap!!!!!

There are plenty more things but there's just a few to be getting on with!!!

Things that make you happy.

Standing on the summit of some mountain I just climbed, tired but buzzed
Skiing through virgin, thigh-deep powder early in the morning
Hearing the rain falling on a tent when I am tucked up warm inside.
Getting into a freshly made bed (Er....but not the same one as Twit! )
Getting out of said bed without a hangover.
Waking up thinking it is a work day and then realising it is Saturday.
A lazy breakfast of Coffee and Croissant while reading the Sunday papers.
Reading - late at night curled up in front of a real fire.
Seeing my sons growing up.
The comfortable way my wife's hand fits perfectly into mine when out walking.
Hugs from people I love.
The warmth and unconditional acceptance and friendship of MWO members.

Things that make you happy.

1. Falling asleep with a cool breeze coming in from the window (had that last night...wonderful)
2. Waking up to same breeze and no hangover
3. Having my children smile at and/or laugh with me
4. Hugging my dog
5. Feeling my husband kiss my forehead when he thinks I am asleep (the best!)
6. Giggling with a girlfriend (thanks allie!)
7. Enjoying a vanilla carvel ice cream cone

Curling up on the sofa with my favourite book.

My husband stroking my nose once to make me get out of bed.

Curled up with a soft blanket reading a really good book.

The smell of clean sheets and towels....flipping the pillow to the cool side.

The smell of scented candles...cinnamon is my favorite.

My husband telling me he loves me in such a way that I believe it.

Getting a really good massage with scented oil

My daughter running her fingers through my hair

My son when he nuzzels me like a puppy

Christmas trees and lights

Being absoultely relaxed, free from all anxiety

my son's report card that came in the mail (yahhhh passing all)
friday night when I dont have to turn on the alarm
my children growing up successful
my puppy snuggled up on my lap
my husband giving me his special wink
warm sun on my skin (dont get much here)
laundry done for the week
my bank account the day I get paid (tomorrow woohoo)
walking into the library (love to read)
watching my boys play football - that means they are actually getting along
snuggled up against my husbands chest on a lazy sunday morning

Watching the snow fall and it sticks to the tree limbs too
Watching fallen autumn leaves blow in the wind
Watching the grass in the lawn when it's a little too long bend over in the wind
Watching the fire in my fireplace or a candle burning, in complete silence
Watching my dog and cat play with each other
Watching very young children smile at me at the grocery store because I make funny faces at them
Watching the ocean ebb and flow in a different way every time
Watching a sunset, sunrise, moon set or moon rise
Watching the stars when there is no light anywhere and it looks like the sky is almost white with them
