                  Wow, AAthlete,

                  Imagine how frustrated he must have been knowing that you wanted him to be involved in sports and feeling like he was not living up to your expectations. This must be relieving for him as well.

                  Kids are amazing. It's hard to remember that your kids just come thru you, and you only have so precious little time to hear them and help them find their inner voice. That will be the voice that guides them to trust their instinct and find their dreams. Even with corrected vision he may still not be interested in sports. But he might be an important scientist, or an astronaut, or an inspiring writer.

                  You sound like a wonderful father. That must make your heart glow.
