Hippie, my mum and dad blame themselves for me having this problem, they have always drank, as I was growing up, and they still drink every night now, it's just that their off switches work better than mine!!!!!!

hi BB sorry about the tequila (te kill ya) . that stuff is vile. My Mexican friends don't drink it I don't touch it even if it's the top shelf stuff. (shivers down my spine)
you will be alright, 1 time in 18 months is pretty amazing I must say.

Oh BB, I am SO SORRY. Shit, I have horror stories of bruises, scraps, gashes, that only God knows how I got them. 18 months is damn good, get up, dust off and start over. Today is a great reminder of why you never want to do it again......you have done a great job and have been a wonderful inspiration to many of us. Take care of you today and get that grit and fight back for tomorrow.

Betty, Take it easy in yourself today. I find when I overdo it I am much harder on myself and feel guilt much more the day after. I think its an alcohol depressant thing. Put in a good movie or take a nap. Try not to think about it today and get up tommorow with a fresh persepective. take care.

Sorry for your one slip. But 18 mos. is something to celebrate! As for your poor head, if it makes you feel any better, I ended up with 10 stitches on my forehead and under my nose about a month ago. Blood alcohol only .01 but... Ugh!

Betty, 1 slip in 18 month, nobody can hold that against you. Moderating for so long you just think the ugly drink monster has gone, obviously it's only hiding, waiting to rear it's ugly head. Another lesson learnt, something else we can all build on....

Don't hold you're mums comments against her, mums and dads only want to help, however they think best, sometimes it seems they are being cruel, (cruel to be kind, maybe)
