I have to get this over with

Thanks again everyone. Well, I'm heading down to Mexico again in 3 weeks. This time I'll be aware of my triggers (they'll all be around me), and take it one day at a time. I'm looking forward to seeing the Mayan Ruins, swimming, snorkleing, reading, etc... I wan't to come back from this trip feeling good about myself and not guilty like I did back in February.

It sounds like you are doing great! How many total days AF? How many drinking relatively moderately? How many drunk? As long as you are going back AF now, just say you had a vacation!

Awesome! Glad you're going back. You WILL come back from this trip feeling good about yourself. You will sachet back through the airport all tanned, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, with lots of fun adventures behind you. I just know it!

Do you journal Reenie? I am thinking how that has been a way of 'staying connected' at times when I have been out of my routine and cut off from my usual support systems. I myself do the 'morning pages' a la "Artist's Way". I write 3 pages every morning no matter what with my coffee. Stream of consciousness kind of, whatever comes out. Can be really helpful. Stuff just seems to come out that needs to and I feel more grounded. Just a thought!

        Have fun!

Have a wonderful time in Mexico and this time will be so much better for you now that you are prepared for the triggers.
