Luv-Hope you're starting to feel a little calmer. You're getting wonderful advice and support here.
My two cents, the tremors are due mostly from a blood sugar crash as all alcoholic drinks are loaded with carbs. When you go to that AA meeting you'll likely find lots of coffee and cookies or donuts or other sugary treats for this very reason. Things may have changed since I went to AA but there is a reason behind the tradition.
Once you have calmed down both physically and emtionally, you will probably find yourself very exhausted, go with it, just sleep and let your body heal.
Most importantly let us know how your doing.

Hon this sounds like "your bottom"... keep this feeling in the very back of your mind as you climb up and out of this horrid "bottom"..
You are not a horrid Mom, you have been through too much... Maybe try and put a half teaspoon of sugar in your next bit of water..
I love you dearly, but will not be here much longer as I'm getting ready to do chores, then pack to go away for the weekend..
It will get better... This is the first day of the rest of your life...

Luv, Great that you have a friend to take you too a meeting. They also have AA hotlines available if you look in the phone book. If you don't have anyone else to talk to, that is an option as well.
