          Change of direction for me now so I'm so gonna post some vids of old festival bands that influenced me for many many years. This is probably where my main musical interest lied from 1988 onwards. This first band "Here and Now Band" used to play gigs a lot with Gong and were a very underrated band but brilliant to watch live at a fezzy.

              Tear yeah I do remember that tune!! Reminds me of Cameo!! remember him with the big red plastic codpiece on TOTP!!!

              Dolph. The Verve's album Urban Hymns is one of my all time favourite albums. Richard Ashcroft as well did some great solo Cd's after they finally split.

                You know i've only been to one music festival i did love the care free and relax atmosphere. When i meet my other half i was limited. GOD i do need a new pair of wings.lol
                Here's two female singers that are talented they have both argue in public!

                      Well I've mentioned previously about Thievery Corporation but not only are they great musicians but they've done a lot of remixes as well.

                      This is a tune that has been my ipod for over a year and one I listen to a lot on my travels.

                          You were up early hours weren't ya Tear! Hav'n trouble sleep'n?. Well I would of thought something a bit more mellow might of helped you get back to sleep than that O Jays tune. That would of had me dancin round the kitchen spilling me tea everywhere!!

                          Here's the very first 2 dance tunes I heard that had an impact as far as the dance scene went!

                          Richie Rich Salsa House. Just loved the minor piano riffs in this tune.

                          And secondaly was A Guy Called Gerald with a tune called Voodoo Ray. I first heard this at the Treworgey Fayre in Plymouth back in 1989. This was the first time I think that a rave area had been set up at a large festival. Saw many great bands at this festival including the legendery Climax Blues Band amonst my usual favourites which I'll post more of soon.

                          We actually thought we'd bunked into the festival through a farmers field until we realised we had only manged to get through to the campers field after being chased by the farmer and his dogs. Not funny trying to run through a field with a backpack on loaded with beer and carrying a tent!!. So Tear yeah we did have those simple lightweight bender type tents that you only had to blow on and they were up!! I have had to put large canvas tents up though when I was in the scouts as a young lad and on school holidays to Wales and The Lakes. Much more fun putting those things up I can tell ya!!
