          Stevie is my role model

          I have LOVED FLEETWOOD MAC for AGES.Back in my younger days 70s & 80s..I was in a band for awhile...(had the volume way down on my amp. cause I was bad) but they wanted me cause they said that I looked like Stevie Niks...I think that the only look/alike today would be that we dress the same.I respect her overcoming major Addictions and being so honest about it.When I feel down and before I start the pitty party,I always put THE DANCE dvd on.This is my favorite track from it.             Yeah I like Fleetwood Mac too Evie. I was learning to play electric rhythm guitar at the time and was being taught by a friend who was well into Dire Straits and Fleetwood Mac. So many good tunes to be able to post just one favourite but this one I will always remember. I played this to death after a girlfriend and I broke up!!![ame=

            This is a tune by Mark Knopfler feat James Taylor called 'Sailing to Philadelphia'

            This is pure class!!! The video is not up to much but the song itself is beautiful enough on it's own anyway.

              Later with Jools Holland has introduced me to some great musicians and bands but this group where on of the few that really made me want to go out and buy the CD the following day on hearing them.

                  Enjoyed the song dolphin but the video is highly "cheese bomb!". Sack the producer but the song and his style of fiddle playing is, as i say, brilliant!!.

                            I didn't hear of Marvin Gaye until after his death. He was a day short of his 40th birthday when his dad shot him when arguing at home. He has one of the smoothest soul voices I have ever heard and the track you posted Tear was the very first tune I heard by him. I still have a few of his albums; Midnight Love and What's Going On (somewhere) but this was and still is one of my all time favourite songs below.
