Inspiration Motivation in Music

Hip, John Mellencamp got a bad rap when he was young and went as John Cougar Mellencamp. That is when he did Jack and Diane and Hurts so Good. Since then he has matured and has truly developed a moral conscience and his music has matured too. Here is a very topical song he performed with India Arie. He has addressed many social issues recently and it is hard to believe but his political leanings are more towards the left than one would think.

It would be wonderful!! I just get so confused sometimes about whether i posted something or not.. i think about what i want to post when i'm at work and by the time i get online I'm nearly in bed & so tired.. can't remember sometimes.

Cuck...that would be a good idea the spread sheet i use to know how to do spreadsheet but i forgot it all.
Hippie i use to go to shoreditch and hackney a few times but mainly down the WestEnd.

I have a few for Beatle, Split Enz are a NZ band two brothers Neil & Tim Finn.. we had their first album in about 1980?.. I never used to listen to them as a kid as I was 'too cool' but my taste has mellowed over time.. they are pretty awesome especially if you get to hear them accoustic.

Not to worry TD, is ok.. I am in wobbly mode with full moon & winter solstice happening here.

Very much enjoyed that clip TD - was that James Brown? Um.. The Get up one. James Brown is a household name, but I do not know him at all. I associate him with some kinda painful trumpet playing.. Which is probably someone else. (guess I’m having a ‘seniors moment’ forgive my ignorance!)

Haha.. As for Angelina.. Maybe you & Hippie need to read ‘the beauty myth’ by Naomi Wolf (Hahahaha I nearly wrote Naomi Campbell)

Teardrop I love that song Imagine.. Funnily enough, at my last year of school my entire year had to sing it as a choir.. But being a Christian school, they replaced ‘imagine no religion’ with something else. Oh boy that taught us all a lot about hypocrisy (have I spelled that wrong?)
