    I'm Soooo Tired....

Although I had heard about this already but had not looked, he said I have some spider veins on my chest that were one of the signs of liver disease. So they took blood and I'll go back next Monday.

Afterwards, I wanted to buy myself something but decided I better spend money in the pet store for my dog and cat. It's amazing that I can spend almost the same amount of money on pet stuff as I can for clothes/shoes! LOL :H

    Hi MA! :h

      I'm Soooo Tired....

Noelle, I'm glad you went to get checked out. But I just wanted to let you know that about 2-3 weeks into my sobriety I got very lethargic. I couldn't do anything. I was so exhausted in spite of sleeping ok. Many people told me then that it was normal. It did get better for a little while, but then I got hit with bronchitis (but that's another story).

I too have heard that it takes at least ninety days of being completely AF, before our bodies start to recuperate and start repairing the damage we have done by all that drinking. Give it some time, hun. Ride it out. I hope your test results come out fine for you.

Pamper yourself when you can. Be gentle to your system. Take care.

        I'm Soooo Tired....

Maybe that's what it is. I mean it's not like a drank every day for only a year or two. I drank for a very, long, time!!!!! Thanks, I'll try not to worry so much.

Is it me, or has anyone else noticed that when you quit drinking, a lot of times you get ill? I saw this in another post, like it was said that the alcohol kills the germs, etc., but I've noticed this happening a lot! In fact, this is the first time I've quit drinking and NOT gotten sick. Although I wouldn't mind, because if I get the flu or something else evil, I'd be able to quit smoking. Ya gotta look on the bright side is what I say.

                    I'm Soooo Tired....

Been tired for a long time too Noelle dear. I think its common to be exhausted in the beginning, i know i was for a long stretch. What a person goes through to become FREE of AL. its really not worth returning to it, ya know? Thats how i feel about what its done to me. I think for women its a bit harder on the body too. You be okay, give it time.

                    :lhugs to you~

                      Noelle -

I hope it is just your body adjusting! If your liver function and kidneys have been fine in the past, then take a deep breath and think positively.

Maybe it's just the crappy weather here! Everyone I talk too is sooooooo ready for spring.

Keep us posted. I'll keep you in my prayers! :huggy
