I just wondered if anyone has heard of this and/or ever gone through it. I suffer from chronic neck/upper back pain for approx 4 yrs now. I have gone through doctors, chiro, PT, massage all of it and all I ever get is temporary relief. So my doc sent me to a spine clinic which sent me to a pysiatrist. Because my pain is just related to muscle tension/pain and I have tried everything else he has recommended trigger point injections with lidocaine. I had my second appt today and let me just tell you I feel like a human pin cushion. He feels around my neck and upper back to muscles that are tight then he puts the needle in if he doesnt find said muscle he takes it out and puts it in again. This can happen about 3-4 times in one certain area till he finds it. Well I guess I am just asking if anyone else has had this done and does it work???? Or is he just doing it cause he knows my insurance will pay for it??
