Normally, when anyone decides to leave, I wish them well. But, I would like to say this to you. The High Drama here over the past few weeks has been tough. It is hard to come here for enlightenment and support only to find suffering, a lot of hopelessness. Unfortunately hopelessness is a by product of drinking. It is also hard to move on and find what we personally need here, when the board is dominated with such posts. Sometimes, we simply must not keep reading these posts, we must remember to save ourselves first. This is not selfish.

The fact is, we can offer support, we can offer options, but in the end, we must stand on our own two feet! Recently I have been very encouraged by those that have taken the steps for their sobriety. I have been uplifted as I have gone through my struggles to reach 60 Days! I am almost there!

If you need to take a break. We understand.........just remember, there is a lot of success here, success which I choose to learn from.

I don't want you to leave. You have answered some of my posts, thank you I am grateful, and I love reading yours. You are doing an amazing job with all you have on your plate.

I don't want you to leave. But I will understand. I would hate very much for you to jeopardize your on sobriety by coming to this site. It does have it's ups and downs but that is what a help site is all about....

If so I couldn't be happier for you .... if you are depressed - you might want to stay and talk? I know I have to be careful what I read on the site if I am down - or I can get down even further.
