Jay, I have lost close people too, to suicide.. (I told you, remember), it's devestating and stays with you forever. But you are here, and we are here and this site can help. It doesn't matter that you are still drinking. It's not easy. The fact is you do want to try and it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you keep on trying. I have had countless attempts... most of us have. The slips are part of it. If it worked first time around we wouldn't have a problem would we?? keep coming here, it's what it's for.
