Luv- I agree withy Miso- you daughter, I assure you, hates Al, not you. You have the power to change that. It's your choice. Simple as that. Get to the hospital today and take charge. You owe that much to your daughter, your faithful MWO'ers who worry about you more than I think you realize, and most importantly- you owe sobriety to yourself.

Stop looking for excuses to drink. Cancer, dying, divorces, custody- that's life sister. Grab it by the horns, make the best of your time here on this earth. Everybody has shitty things happen- and yes, some times it POURS shit- but come on.... really- you are only foooling yourself.

I agree completely. Wallowing in self pitty and booze, will not change anything. Look at the number of threads, dedicated to you, over the past couple of weeks. Honestly, I have never seen such an outpouring of love and support. Evidently, it all went unoticed by you. None of it seemed to help you. In fact, I wonder if it actually gave you permission to drink more? When you sober up, you just might realize that your children are hurting right now. They need their mother and they need their mother sober and together. Think of this, everyday, they have to go to school and live their lives worried sick about you! They cannot drink their way into oblivion in order to escape this! This in and of itself should make you want to get well.

Don't even give us this shit, that you cannot get into treatment. You are the only one that can do this. If nothing else, have somone take you to the ER and go into detox.
