My boys dad and I were divorced over 18 years ago. It's still a little sad to think back on it, but I know it was the best thing for me, and even for the boys. The boys say the same thing. I went through mine during my 5 years of sobriety. I am really glad that I wasn't drinking at the time. You can always know that you made all of your decisions and reacted to everything that is happening with a sober mind and emotions.

Well.... this may sound odd. Thsi thread just reminded me to return hubby # 1 's call. He called to check on me the other day. Greenie fessed up again. It took some years after the divorce but we are very close friends. Keep your heart open. Always. It opens to the universe and higher power.
