Since Ripple is cresting the 6th. month mark, we are in search of a companion! I'm ready for company and a new baby girl (toy poodle) i can take with me everywhere. I'm looking forward to finding this gem of love and poop. Any ideas for a name? :h

I had a miniature poodle when I was younger.....I loved that dog!!

How about Brandy? Whisky? Miller? (I swear my brother named his dog Miller, after the beer... WTF!)

Or, Coco? Milky? I still like Rippy.... Ripster... Ripa...... Riparooni.....Ripoff.... Ripstop...

I second the other poster......check out rescue groups! They do such wonderful work and you can possibly get an amazing little companion who will be SO grateful to you for providing his/her forever home!

If you decide against rescue, PLEASE please please do not purchase from a pet store.

I have a cool kitty named "Zoe" whom I got from the Humane Society three days before it burned down. Only one cat survived out of 80 something... she was found in some rubble. Guess what what her name was? Lucky. I think my Zoe was pretty lucky too. The Fire Dept adopted the dogs who lived.

Rachel Ray is doing a mini-clip tomorrow on her talk show about it with video footage of the firefighters saving the dogs. Her show said "upcoming" and showed scenes, so I am assuming its tomorrow, but could not find it listed on her show features. (but you can go to her website and search Jacksonville Humane society). The entire Humane society burned down leaving all of the cats destroyed except one, and I think I got Zoe out in the nick of time. The Fire Dept was able to open most of the dog kennels on a seperate wing allowing them to run free, some to be hit by cars. Rachel Ray may be annoying to some, but she is donating $75,000 dollars to help rebuild our only Humane Society here in Jacksonville, FL.

She's not a bad cook either
