After reading people's accounts and searching the website, I've made an appointment with Rhonda Lenair. I remember reading that someone had said their intake conversation with Barry was "robot-like", which turned me off for a long time, and now I'm sorry I let that influence me, because when I talked to him, he was very genuine. I am reaching the end of my rope and need to do something.

Another part of my story is that I moved to CT from PA thinking it would take me closer to the lenair treatment center. I just got a tax refund that would have covered the old price of $1800....which is what I thought it still was. Now I have to come up with the difference, which is almost double that....

Congratulaltions Unsure! I leave 2 weeks from tomorrow for VT. I am so ready for this. I too found that Barry seemed genuinely sincere. I have called a couple of times since scheduling with questions and have found him to be just as nice each time. Good luck.

I am 4 days AF. I am determined to arrive there with 2 1/2 weeks of sobriety.

Regarding $....compared to what it cost me to keep drinking at the pace I was drinking- at least 2 to 3 bottles of wine a night - the price for lenair was not hard for me to swallow....with the combined cost monthly of wine at home, wine for business dinners, and wine for nights out, it was a no brainer... I figure that by not drinking I am saving between $750 and $1000 a month...so it will pay for itself in no time...The experience was life changing for me...not only with the non drinking aspect...but also the extreme anxiety that I was battling all the time is gone...my life is so much better...I am very grateful to this place and to Rhonda Lenair...It is one of the biggest blessings that has ever been given to me....I am almost to 60 days AF! I cant believe it...hope this helps...hugs...buckle

Hi all,
It's been ages since I have visited here. It's been over 8 months since my Rhonda Lenair visit and I just wanted to check in and say hi. It has been a very busy time for me with my work which is one reason I haven't been posting here. The other reason is that drinking, my drinking past, all of it - is rarely on my mind. Things keep getting clearer and I get saner all the time. And my drinking days get more and more distant. I remember how obsessed I was with drinking: how I wished I could cut down, how I couldn't wait to get to my first drink, how bad I felt the next day, how I wished I could stop thinking about it, how I knew it was bad for me, how much shame I had, how relieved I was when I could gulp my first drink of the day, how I had to hide my secret that I was a raging alcoholic from others, and on and on. I am so happy to know that there are others here who have traveled to see Rhonda Lenair and have experienced the same freedom. Hi to Buckle and Bootcamp, fellow trailblazers - who literally had no concrete evidence that this was the real thing - and to the other courageous souls who have taken this amazing journey and to those who are about to. It is a gift I carry in my heart and always will.
