    American Idol 4/1/2008

    Just a thread for us Idol fans to discuss the contestants... if you so desire...

    I've been a hard core follower this year and anxious to see the performances this week...

      I have the hardest time when it gets down to this. I think all are very talented. It seems that the song choice makes are breaks it for me.
      I agree David , David, Michael ...oh I like all of them.. Can we just have a year long show with all of them??

        Michael Johns has been consistently the most talented. I think he's the only one that I would maybe buy his records. The other's are just singers......he has that spark!

          I Love American Idol!

          I love American Idol...I have been watching it since season 2, even though I don't remember it all.....stupid AL.

          Last night was great even though I'm not a Dolly Parton fan.

          I love Michael Johns, David Cook, and David Archaletta......yes I love the boys !! I will definitely buy Michael Johns & David Cooks CDs when they make one. Whether they win or not, they are going some place !! They have the best voices !!

          The girls are good too....Carly has the best voice.

          And the best thing about American Idol this year, I watch it sober

          Thanks for starting this thread. I tried one last season, but I did not get any response :upset:

            This was my second sober episode.. just went AF recently...

            I agree Carly has the best female voice.. we all seem to agree... David, David, Michael

            I'm not sure why Ramielle is still there... IMHO..

            It is nice to remember!!! :P

              There are a LOT of shows I stopped watching in the past. I always said they were just too complicated. It wasn't me.......it was AL!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

                so who is going home tonight?

                I didn't really care for last night's episode - partly because I really don't care for country music so the songs themselves all sounded very boring to me. Also Dolly has officially gotten scary looking - too much plastic surgery makes you have a ghoulish smile!

                I don't really care for that John guy - I guess I'm alone on that front. My boy Jason has picked really dull music for a few weeks, he's going to be OUT if he doesn't improve soon. And I didn't think Syesha should have sung "I will always love you" - I think that was a huge mistake. The two Daves + Carly + Brooke all did great.

                  I like Dolly but I really think on the whole, lasts nights show was a dud. You can't be AMAZING singing Dolly Parton songs. I am sooo glad David Cook cut his hair. My favorites are David Cook and Michael Johns, Carly and Saesha. If I have to choose one, then it would have to be DAVID COOK!!!!!!! I love how he remakes songs. I don't know why but Brooke gets under my skin. Remille is good but not great. Jason is still there because he soo goofy it's cute. Kristi is in the same category as Remille. David A is good but he is too sweet for me. WHo do you think is leaving tonight?????? By the way, I watched the show sober last night Although, I can't say I am patting my self on the back or anything because I just don't feel like I have conquered AL. I don't know it's weird. It's almost like I am afraid of a sneak attack or something.

                      I was annoyed by the licking the lips thing too that little David did! Maybe someone did say something! I adore that kid.
                      As for Carly, she has the best voice. I love her.
                      I also love the other David.
                      And yes, I agree, Kristy Lee should go soon.

                        Yes, David C's hair looked Much better...

                        I think Ramielle will go tonight.. I'm really surprised she's still there... It's not that she's not talented.. she just doesn't have the star quality that some of the others have..

                        I love David A... his lip licking doesn't bother me... lol..

                            I agree David Cook looked great last night with that haircut. But Michael Johns, looked awesome !! I love how he was dressed. And the licking of the lips, I must have missed that one...and I wasn't even drinking :H

                            25 more minutes to go and it will be on. I'll plant myself on the coach with a bottle of water. Enjoy the show if you watch it tonight !!

                              No surprise!!! It was just a matter of time before Remille got off. I say next is Kristi. Then Jason. Then Brooke. I think the top 3 are David, Michael and Carly. What a tough decision.

                              So I am frustrated. On one hand I am glad that I am at the point where drinking doesn't make me happy where I thought it once did. But on the other hand, I thought when I finally came to that realization, that I would be this new person who was happy without drinking. I don't feel that new magic feeling that I thought I would feel. It's kind of a bummer. I am just my normal self which means I am still weak enough to drink. Any thoughts?
