I am REALLY glad Remille was voted off - she was driving me crazy. It was like watching a wounded cat wanting to knaw off it's paws every week... e-gads...
Hi Cheryl! Welcome - we haven't met... glad you are here. Oh, the point where our good old friend doesn't make us happy any longer.. ho-hum. Unfotunately it is like a fatal attraction to most of us, isn't it. We would be cooking the rabbit without giving a look sideways for our friend AL. There is definately an adjustment time, but it is really important to fill that time with new, healthy routines. This will give you the feeling of the "new you", and it is beautiful - better by a hundred fold! You can't expect to take something as powerful and all consuming as alcohol away and not fill it with something. This was a big part of our lives. We are all just our normal, wonderful-selfs. That has to be OK. It is OK. We are fabulous people without alcohol - you just have to give it time for the "real" you to appear... be patiend and steadfast. Be excited.
Enjoy your day..
Namaste,
MM
