Once a drunk, always a drunk apparently

    Tired,

A few days ago hubby left a trail of his crap from the garage door, throughout the house and back again before he left. As usual. :disgusting:

I took all of it and piled it on "his special" chair. (No, I don't have a special chair.) 20 years of this was enough for me. I am PMSing too and it friggin' HURTS. I have a prescription for it and it's not doing much. Already had surgery for it. Anyway...

He came home when I was upstairs getting ready for bed. The next day the chair was cleaned off and not a word was said. Since then he's been much better, not as neat as I would like but he's trying.

These posts and books I've been reading have taught me to take care of myself. Then I'll be able to take care of others. I've been doing things the opposite way for over 40 years. I'm done. Screw it.

Wow, I never vent. This felt GREAT! Thanks for the inspiration, Tired! And the best of luck and love to you, your family and your DH.

BTW, I think I would have caved those two times in the market, too.
