    What is your ethnic background?


    I am in the mood to have fun today. thinking of beauty and diversity so I thought I'd start this thread.
    what nationality or nationalities are you?

    I am a mutt : Spanish. danish, south American Indian, rumors say I also have Scottish and Irish blood and possibly some African



    do you live in the country where you were born?
    I live in the USA but was born in Colombia

              I'm 3/4 German, 1/8 Irish, 1/8 English...Mom full blooded German, Dad mix of German, Irish and English. I know my German heritage well, don't know about my Dad's

                    Records indicate back to 1600's mother's side from Ontario, Canada...Jumpy Frogs on that side! Father is first generation borne here in New York City to immigrants from Russia..so we know who liked Vodka? :snowflake:

                        Mom was a second-generation German American. My grandpa's first language was German and my great-granddad ran a brewery and distillery in Pittsburgh before Prohibition knocked it out. On the other side, a messed-up mix of English and Irish. And who knows what else.

                            Mostly German and Irish heritage (hence my ability to drink everyone under the table) ...I guess there's a little English in there somewhere too...

                              I'm 1/2 swede and the rest german and Scot. Heavy drinkers on both sides...is there a preponderance of northern european and american indian amongst us.... or is that just an old wives tale??
