P. I know you want this to die - and it will .... But I think it's good for whoever did it to read that the majority will not tolerate someone being attacked "behind the curtain". Maybe this will help end those antics. Sorry it had to be you to carry this torch - but you are one loved cookie so know we are standing beside you.

Dear Palatia. My heart bled for you when I read your recent posting. As you know I am new to this site and was soooo blessed by your kindness in responding to me after my first post. I did send you a thank you note last night, but I think I posted the darn thing to myself...how embarassing. Anyway I think you are great and admire your honesty and determination. I'm soo new, I don't even know what PM ( private message maybe?) is but I want to send you lots of love and encouragement today. Don't accept ANY condemnation from anyone!!! You alone know how much progress you've made and how much COURAGE it take for you to be so vulnerable and to take on the fight of facing this alcohol demon. Don't let ANYONE steal your joy of accomplishments! PS I think you did absolutely the right thing with your son!! Don't let the negative message bring you down.. the person may be projecting onto you something that is happening or has happened in their own life. Either that or they are very ridgid (wish I could find out how to access spellcheck

Palatia, I've probably read most of your posts and "annoying" is about the last word I'd use to describe your contribution to the board. I think this person is just trying to rain on your parade. Only drinking two nights out of 19 is an amazing achievement in my book. My best guess is that the person who sent you that is in the stage of his/her drinking problem where one is highly critical of other people's drinking habits.Comment

actually just wanted to join you on the 'bad mother's club.' I make my 20 y/o son pay me $150 a month rent, he pays his own car payment, his own car insurance and his own cell bill. Hmmmm he works full time and I figure if he was out on his own, he totally would not be able to make it. Soooooo your son giving you $40 hun that's nothing. Don't worry about what one person thinks about you. Look how ALL of these other people feel about you and take that to heart hun. You don't know me, I haven't posted on here for awhile but felt compelled to post to this. As a mom of three boys ages 20,18 and 15 - we so totally rock :rockon:

Just want to add my support you so did not deserve any of those comments made in the pm. It might be worth PMing RJ to let her know in case this person is doing it to other people. We all know that when we are really down a pm like that could have dire consequences for the recipient
