    Palatia, I know I shouldn't post anymore but.........may I raise my cup of herbal tea to you. You will do well and yes, our spoilt brats should pay their own way where they can.
    That nasty, cowardly pm looks like it came from a very angry little person under the influence.

      I lOVE HERBAL TEA......
      I agree with alot of the replies... please don't let one small and confused mind chase you away from this great site.. As for your son giving you some money.. good on him and im sure it would cost him alot more than $40 to support himself away from home...
      Perhaps the lame PM will wake up to themselves and apologise

            People sometimes make judgments about another's character after reading 10-20 posts by them. Sometimes they are dead on, and sometimes they are not, but it is NEVER appropriate to hand out negative advice or opinions unless they are asked for, whether it's in a thread or by PM. No one can truly know what is in another's heart unless they are very close.

            I was attacked very openly on the board 2 years ago, but the support of my friends here and RJ helped me get through it. It was a very troubling experience at the time. The person who attacked me was sober, and believed that confrontation was helpful. Maybe for others but not for me.

            Palatia, you will get to the place that you want and need to be. Don't let someone derail you from your journey.

                Have you received another nasty PM. I don't know you as yet but I've read some of your posts and you've left support on a couple of mine. I cannot for the life of me think why anyone would have a problem with you. Like everyone has said, the only problem they have is with themselves. I'm right here with everyone else supporting you. We got your back Palatia.

                  I think there is a huge difference. Between someone sending you a private PM and Kate getting on an OPEN forum and expressing her point of view. It could have been said more gently but to get on a forum that is supposed to be to support those who are trying to quit drinking and get sympathy b/c your husband drank your beer is a slap in the face to everyone actually trying to get or stay sober.

                    I've had that happen to me once, and it was upsetting to me. I almost left, but luckily the other people here talked me into staying. It really put a damper on things when I was just new to the board as well. Who cares what they say. If you 'bug' them, that's their issue, not yours.

                      Shit guys we are all in the same boat the only thing hurting us is the bloody booze can we move on Please. No point in sorting the good from the bad here we are all good people struggling with the same problem lets move on to supporting each other any way we can shit my boss told me today I was a hopeless loser. well that was a left hook to the face but shit we all have to slide with the punches emotionally or otherwise .

                              It sounds like someone was jealous....and maybe a little drunk. Don't even give it a second thought! I do want to warn you , however, I once drank so much herbal tea I got a bladder infection. I was drinking several quarts a day of the stuff which I guess is excessive, just wanted to give you the heads up. Anyway, most of us are nice around here : )

                                Delete delete delete... Its awful when this happens as it feels so personal and hits on so many nerves.
                                Drink all the tea you want girl. Buy something nice with the money your son gave you. You deserve it.
                                Think of all the nice people around you - forget it.
