    Letter to myself

    Dear Tired,

You need something to put in your purse to pull out when you need the reminder to stay the course. This is it.

You do not WANT to drink. You do not NEED to drink. One or two is not fine - even that dehydrates you and you don't sleep well and you don't remember well. Stay the course.

Think about the great weight loss you've been going through, having more energy to walk or ride the bike or get on the elliptical. Think about playing soccer with your daughter in the backyard and the energy you need for that.

Think about a clear mind - no clouds or little memory gaps. Remember how good it felt to be completely AF - 15 days, 20 days, 60 days. Remember that it builds over time and you feel better and better and you deserve to be the best.

Think of your friends on this board who are doing so well and that they are pulling for you to be completely clear too. WWMWOD? (What Would My Way Outers Do?)

Remember you have a birthday in October and you want to celebrate that birthday a new year - healthier, thinner, happier, mentally sharp and clear.

Put me in your purse or in your glovebox. Pull me out when you need to. I'm here for you.

    Love,
    Tired

Perfect, Tired.... Nicely put and a fantastic idea. We ALL need those little reminders.

    Namaste,

Face your deficiencies and acknowledge them, but do not let them master you. Let them teach you patience, sweetness, insight.

if i could get in the same space as your picture, meditation mama, I would be a happy girl.
Try as I might, I can't get in to myself and meditate.

PS - Debruce: I think the MWO Hypno CD's are a great training ground for meditation. If you don't have them - get them! You won't be sorry!

Nice post Tired! I need a pocket sized version since I will never admit to carrying a man bag... : )
I went to my doctor and told him I had a serious drinking problem and that I was in desperate need of a solution. He said, 'Stop drinking.' I said, 'I don't get it..' He said, 'Go home and think about it.'
