Know that Bear has had a lasting impact here that reached over oceans and continents. He had time for and a direct word of encouragement for anyone in need. He fought his battle w/ alcohol and won. His is a lasting memory of peace and strength.

Very sad news about our beloved Bear

Like everyone else....I am just devistated. Yes, I never met or spoke to "MD Biker aka bear" in person, he was wonderful. He responded to many of my posts, and was always just amazing...supportive, kind, caring.

This is just very sad. I am writing this hoping his wife gets the chance to see these posts. I want her to know how loved he was here. He had an amazing soul, and was just a wonderful guy. And he was beating this demon.

He will be soooo missed. Hey, Mrs. Bear....I can only imagine you are wonderful, because he loved you...You haven't been on here because you are the spouse...BUT...If you want someone to talk to, who understands this "disease" from this side...I totally welcome you to pm me.

I am very, very sad. And I just feel for Mrs. Bear and the rest of the family.

Very sad news about our beloved Bear

What sadness fills my heart for Bears dear family. I shudder at the thought that the death of someone so beloved could be caused by the very thing that Bear overcame with triumph and victory. God truly gave Bear the gift of Sobriety before leaving this earth. Now he is forever free of all restraints, addictions and sadness. In his memory I would like to propose a Drink Free Day for all of us ... Moderating, Struggling or Free - What a tribute to a Man who has helped so many of us that would be. He would smile on that idea.

Just read this now ,I am so shocked and sick in my stomach to hear this. I will miss him dearly.....i still got his lists that he posted on my thread in my hand bag. That i get out now and again that helps me.
