    My heart is sick and sad that such a wonderful, loving person has been taken, and so senslessly! I am, however, grateful, for Bear, that he had the chance to experience his sobriety!

    My deepest sympathy to Bear's loved ones. I will pray for Bear and for you, that you will find the stregnth you need at this time.

      All I could do is look into this gentle, gentle mans eyes in his picture and talk right out loud... "You have touched sooo many peoples hearts here and there are no words to express the void that will remain forever... If this is your legacy in life to give others the courage to follow in your footsteps my friend, you have served us all sooo well,,, Although I've not met you, I Know You... "

        Don't really know what to say except i loved reading all Bears posts. He was such a kind man. Straight talking, honest and sincere.

            Very sad news about our beloved Bear

            This is so unbelievably sad. Bear responded to quite a few of my posts too. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes funny, hugely compassionate and giving.
            I am so so sorry Ladybear, please accept my sincerest condolences too.
            Such a lovely man.

                  Bear was the first person at MWO who really reached out to me. He was the first person I told after I had my first AF day in 15 years. He followed up with me to make sure I was doing OK.
                  I guess his work in this life was through and now he is with God and his struggles are over.

                  Bye Bear, see you someday, I'll miss you buddy.

                        I just can`t believe we will never be able to read Bears words of wisdom ever again.

                              Bearlady (AKA Mama Bear to the 30 day thread group) my DEEPEST heartfelt sympathy to you and the kids and grandkids. Papa Bear WON, he WON the fight. He died with so much dignity and love. I will forever remember him. He has helped me more than I could ever express here. All my love!

                                I cannot believe this......... oh my god bless him.

                                when I first came to MWO, he was one of the first, who welcomed me and was always so warm and caring.
                                can't forget his advice.
