Dearest Bear Lady, As you could see for yourself, by reading so many post's, Your Bear, was very much loved and respected here. He was so generous in sharing the ups and downs of this process of recovery and most of all he allowed us to see HIM. His love for you and your family was always in the fore front and I feel like I know you just a little from all that he has shared. Bear affected me personally, in chats and posting more than I am sure he even knew. I am happy that you are finding some comfort by coming here, you have arms around the world holding you close, you are in our hearts and minds. Please come here anytime you need to feel our love and support for you.....and we will keep our memories of Bear alive. He will always be with you......

This is very sad. I don't even know what to say right now. What a ironic way to leave this earth. Bear is such an inspiration and will always be. We will all take a piece of him with us - I know I will.

I am so sorry for this terrible loss. Bear touched my life just once through a pm when I first came back. I was feeling low and he inspired. A truely wonderful person. My deepest sympathy to Ladybear and all of his family. A wonderful person has moved on and it is sad to us that are left behind, but he lives on in many people's hearts.

I will be going to our home this weekend. We need to do "house cleaning" by clearing up some stuff there. Thank you for your prayers, love and support. I've talked to bear jr. He says he will join you on the threads soon. He plans to go into ministry. His papa was already proud. He will be dancing now and bustin' a few buttons.

Bear Lady, you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers since RJ posted. I struggle with the right words to describe what this complete stranger meant to me. I truly believe he played a pivotal part in my sobriety. It's amazing how certain people can touch our lives in ways that they will never fully know or understand.

He was a virtual pal, a mentor, a friend. There are few people placed on this Earth with a heart as loving and pure as Bear's. I will be forever grateful that this wonderful man?s life crossed paths with mine.

Please know that his spirit will live on forever at MWO. I believe we owe it Bear and to future members to pass on the amazing wisdom and advice that he shared with so many.

You and your's will continue to be in my thoughts as I pray that God brings peace to your hearts and minds.

This is my first day back on this site for some time, and I was shocked to see this thread. I didn't interact too much with Bear other than reading his posts that were very inspirational.

He will be missed.
