i would just like to say thank you all so much for your support. and you have all help me in so many ways . and it has been a long journey and its not over for me . there is still alot to learn and am looking forward to it with a clear head and a better understanding of where i was and am now and where i want to be in the future.

All I can say tlrgs is that what comes round goes round i married my ex twice! 2 children from 1st marriage and 2 from 2nd he hadnt changed still putting his drinking before family
I said to the solicitor, same again
I have a son with my husband now and although I have put him through hell he is still here and I know I am never going to risk losing him again thank god i found this site
The second time round is never the same, but I think this is all our second times round because we are giving ourselves a sober look at ourselves when we drink
I wish you and Sue all the happiness in the world
Im sure you both deserve it -looking forward to an al free future too!

Tirgs - Do you know how amazing you are? People talk about hitting rock bottom, and some bottoms are deeper than others - yours was very deep. And you fought, dug your fingernails in and hung on, and you have pulled yourself out of the abyss. What an inspiration you are. You have done this - YOU! You may have had counselling, help, whatever, but untimately, it is YOU who has done this. Wow, that's all I can say.

I am still trying to make one month (2 weeks is the most I have managed so far) but it is reading posts like yours that keep wanting me to try harder. I have everything I need in front of me too - a loving husband, two beautiful and healthy kids,:thanks: so why do I keep doing this to myself?
