    STAYING ON.

You all know I tried ALCOHOL a few times now..I confess. Honesty is important to SOBRIETY..since making a firm decision to go on again, these are some of the wonderful things we get out of life when abstaining from AL:

    1. Order...things get DONE! (organization)
    2. The MIND is CLEAR! (what day is it)
    3. You don't doo stupid things to people!
    4. No GUILT or SHAME
    5. One Looks ALIVE!
    6. Make Sense (have trouble there always)
    7. Awareness
    8. Better Sleep
    9. I like me better.
    0. SOBER is being SAFE.......

its easier after trying out drinking and finding out it is just not for YOU
...to anyone i my annoyed, i am sorry..please forgive. I understand my mistakes. That makes my apologys valid. Hope it doesn't happen again. I plan very much to stay on track. :l

YEP - can relate! I had tried it a few times over the last year and a half. Did not do a thing for me but make me feel like complete shit.

I have learned a LOT from 'testing the waters' so to speak. It really puts things into perspective doesn't it?

Good for you for hopping back on the wagon! :goodjob:

Well said, Ripple...........glad to hear you are back on track! Sometimes we forget how truly awful alcohol is for us............the important thing is that we never give up on living a sober life!!

One think's its okay to try drink...only to discover you have not changed. Why bother when the occasional suffering and reminders come along are far less than the consequences and feelings after the fact. I'll continue to fight the urges and stay off the sauce. Sober path again where i left off for a leak. :H

Right there with you Rip! You are exactly right about all the good things that surround not drinking! Chief (Don) always says...."Its harder to keep drinking, than to QUIT", I love that saying, its soooo true huh!
