Coming here to this site has been one of the best experiences in my life... I am so Grateful to be part of this group.I have never met a group of people who are so strong and supportive , in my life.You have helped me BEAT THE BEAST.... I can say that I am actually glad to have the disease of alcoholism...With out it I would have never known about my inner strenght...If I can Beat that BEAST then i believe that there is not anything in this world that I cannot over come and what a gift that is.It has taken the fear of what might happen out of my life because what ever it is I know that i can handle it.GOD BLESS YOU ALL....LOL..Evie

You have encouraged many, me included. I am going through terrible withdrawls right now and I remember you experienced this. I have gone through them before and I know all I need is time and stop dumping alcohol in my body.

Hey Evie! Who woulda thunk, Huh???? This is an amazing place, with so many truly amazing people! I am so happy that you found us!! You are quite amazing! I know, that MWO, gave me the tools to turn my life around. I am still a work in progress......coming up on 6 months......living as a non-drinker is wonderful!!

MM, one of my {{{{{special sisters}}}}}} your honesty and tenacity is nothing short of amazing!! You have been so instrumental in my sobriety. We are still holding hands and working through this together!!

I remember all too well how bad withdrawl was !!!! Gaba was important to me and plenlty of water to battle the dehydration.Sugar carvings were termendous so I had a constant supply of sweets.Deep breathing and fresh air were good.Being in Nature and soaking up its beauty gave me strenght...You can do this !!!PM me if I can help...Every day in every way you will feel better and better.....LOL..EVIE

I just poured out what was left in the bottle. I am hoping I can get through today because when I get home from work I don't know if I will fight it. My Mom is in the house and her and I just talked because it was really bad a few years ago. I have tried sticking to wine lately , but I still inhale it and there is never enough until I pass out and wake up in time to regret the day before. You really do encourage me and I am going to promise if I want to drink tonight I will PM you(if I can figure out how to) I will go buy some GABA today. Im discouraged the TOPA did not work and I think a part of me just gave up and gave in. I don't believe I can put alcohol in my body . I am feeling what I am saying and I realize I got discouraged, hoping I would experience the relief as I have all the suppliments except the ALLONE. Maybe that will make a difference.
I get very lonely as I have put myself in such a place of isolation ,disappearing from any social life. Coming here is my social activity.
