    I am Alcohol Free since January 1, 2008 and MWO absolutely is a very big piece of that reason. God brought me here, RJ gave me the tools to make it - and the rest is now my life as a non drinker is well into the journey. I always knew I needed to do it "My Way" and sure enough - - - after 20 plus years of wanting to stop - here I am!!

      This is a great thread and a wonderful reminder of what a great place this is. I have made it past 45 days (losing count is a good thing). Something I did not think I could do.

        Ok gotta respond to this one:

        Still struggling, and been here a long time...BUT have done better here than anywhere else, and have tried before.

        This place is awesome. I think, when one is really ready, this is the place to be, with whatever tools works..AA, supps, meds.,, whatever.

        But this is an amazing place to get sober, learn to moderate, whatever.

          Hey there,
          I think MWO really helps me because I know I have a place I can always turn day and night with very caring people, I am sober , debating Ab or moderate but I know I don't want to go back to the way I was. I love my clear head tonight!!!!!

            MWO is the reason I committed to this change in my life. I came here with two goals (1) AF for 30 days, and if that worked (2) AF for life.

            Goal one, check. Goal two, in progress.

              I am really happy to say that I just passed my one-year anniversary a few days ago. It wouldn't have happened without my being part of MWO. I found this website when I was drunk one night, and put it in my favorites so I wouldn't forget the address. That was December 5, 2005. I messed around with moderation and abs for 2 1/2 years before I really made the decision to go AF, and it is such a relief. The benefits of sobriety have been enormous. I am so grateful to RJ and MWO and all of the love and support I have received here.

                I have been here since Apr. 07 & have had far, far more success here than I have in YEARS trying on my own. I have had my struggles but am doing well right now thanks to daily reading & posting. Thank you everyone for being here. Mary

                          Yep count me in too. 2.5 months and going strong. Certainly wouldnt have done it without MWO. Tried many times and failed. Its just great to have a PLAN and a support system.
