    HAPPY FATHERS DAY

    TO ALL THE
    FATHERS OUT
    THERE
    i have two sons that are doing wonderful
    i am so proud of them
    and i am so proud to be able to call myself a father .
    if i didnt do what iam doing now i wouldnt have a day to spend
    with them and to be a part in their lives
    i thank god that i am af now and forever
    and yes i am still learning to be a better and loving father
    and it all takes time and its getting better
    thank you for letting me share

      HAPPY FATHERS DAY

      I have been collecting fun gifts from the kids for the last two weeks including poems, trinkets, and some GOOD stuff too! But tonight our cat got a hair of a ball and decided to go scooba diving under our bed..... guess it was the "bag" that I had under there!

      My husband woke up.... disoriented....LOL! He realized the cat was under the bed making a LOT of noise, so he grabbed her tail, pulled her out..... well, her claws grabbed the bag she was in (she is smart cat.... she knew what bag she was in), so out from under the bed came the cat, then the bag! My husband was like.... "What is this?" I said, " I was trying to surprise you.... but the cat.... the bag...sorry!

      My cat let the bag out, so my husband will pretend tomorrow to be surprised when the kids give him their gifts and I'm sure the cat will be asleep and very unaware of how she altered our plans!

      Life is fun!

          HAPPY FATHERS DAY

          Grateful today to be sober and enjoying my daughter's company. She stayed overnight with me which is not a normal arrangement for a Saturday/Sunday. So I have today to spend more time with her showing HER how grateful I am to be a sober and happy father. It's the way it should be I feel.

          To all other Father's out there today who have the opportunity to be spending it with their kids Enjoy your day showing your kids what THEY mean to YOU.

            HAPPY FATHERS DAY

            Today I go to visit my daddy in the nursing home. Since I told him about Vermont, he asked for Johnny Walker Black so we would have our last drink together. He just wanted to share MY last drink. My sister already sent our present so I shall show up with crystal glasses, a bag of ice cubes (he likes his with cubes, I always liked the crushed ice from his ice maker) and some balloons. I've thought about this a good bit. Although this is Father's Day, I think this is his gift to me. He knows how I am feeling on that innate level that daddys have. My last drink. And he wanted to share even though he has no interest in AL anymore. He loves me so. :h
