I agree with both of you. And I have a lot to learn about listening. I spent a lot of years numbing myself and didn't realize how much I was talking and not listening. I was robbing myself of expanding MY universe to people like you and others who were right there in front of me. But I couldn't see it because I had my blinders on and my earplugs on.

Scary that people could see me and hear me for what I was, but I couldn't see or hear THEM. Talk about being EXPOSED. And I thought I was HIDING.

The truth hurts, but we grow up, we learn from the past, and we move through the future.
