Yesterday's West Palm Beach Meet

Yesterday a small group of us from this site meet up in West Palm Beach. One came all the way from California and the rest where more local. I have to say that I was a little nervous about meeting people who would know that I have a problem with AL. For me admitting this problem on line was alot easier that admitting it in person. I was nervous and anxious about how this meet would go.
To those of you who were there I just want to say how great it was to meet you. It was great to talk to others who know about this site and why we are here. Although we all have different circumstances we all have one common problem.
Hope no one is too badly sun burned and I hope you all enjoyed yourself as much as I did.
To those of you who were not there, if you ever get a chance to meet fellow MWOer's I highly recommend it.

yes the meet was great ..the beach was beautiful and company was even better.to put a face to the name was great and just being able to talk to another mwo'er was kool ..

It was great!! I too was nervous, but we really connected and had a wonderful day. We went to the beach, got lunch and hung out at the hotel pool. It is amazing that we can all be so different, yet the same.

I am so sorry others couldn't make it.

Brit!!! How was Lenair???? I am dying to hear about it. Guess I should check the threads and see if you have one going. You were missed!! As were the rest of you. We will have to have a repeat performance!!

Hey Beth and everyone....sounds like it was fun! Wish I could have been there!

I still smile when I think of my time with WW and Mags.....so much fun!! It bonded us for life!

I am still saving up my mileage for another NYC trip!! I am thinking sometime in the spring !! So, start saving up!!
