The Ceilidh..... aka The Scotland Meet

Hi All, we are thinking about organising a meet up in Scotland. This is for anyone who wants to come, the more the merrier.

Looking for names of who can come firstly then suggestions of where in Scotland we could meet, we will have to go with the majority though.

I live in the Highlands but would like to 'vote' for a meet in the Glasgow area as possibly this would be within travelling distance for most folks, even those coming up from England. What do you think?

Come on then... thread is open.

Dolph, anywhere in Scotland for me, as I say I will travel, just thought of Glasgow don't really know why except for Darling aka Starlight Impress as I'm sure she won't me saying that she doesn't like to travel and we did speak about going to one of the London get togethers but it didn't happen for us and anyone coming from England ie Hippie then I think the coaches go to the bigger cities - don't know, I could be just talking sh-te. Aberdeen is fine for me, East Coast is even more fine for me I really don't care where. As for you coming up here in August I will pm you my number - would love to meet.

Evie, good to hear you are coming to UK. If you could get to the borders possibly be able to meet for coffee if I have plenty notice for day off work, would take me about 4 hours driving to get to borders of Scotland/England driving.

Lx PS you coming Dolph (smiles)

I missed out on the last London meet up and traveling is not a problem for me as long as I have plenty of notice. I know the train fare to Dundee is only ?38 but I'll have to book seats a few weeks in advance before those cheap offers are all bought up.

Will speak to dolph about dates etc and see what she can come up with.

Star I hope you're going to make it too.

Oooh think Evie quite the globtrotter, is that right Evie..... and ... Birmingham is approx 10 hour drive from where I am - lol. BUT could meet if we both want to at some place at the borders, in fact come to think of it... I have a very good friend in Manchester, I lived there for many years in my late 20's/30's and could make it a time with her to co-incide with a meet with you somewhere inbetween... Will have to check with work for time off but could possibly make it days before you fly out on 29th? Will check it out and let you know. Any other Mancunions out there want to get in on this meet?

I am a working Medium and the UK is covered with Spiritualist Churches there...They like me there for some reason....They just don't know me very well,I guess...So many of the places that I want to visit are Catholic so I have to pay my own way...no way to travel if there are other choices....
