    Celebrating 91 days AF!

I'm happy to report that in spite of spending the holiday at the lake with family and AL all around me, I am here, celebrating 91 days of sobriety!

        Congratulations best!

Were you tempted or is sobriety such a way of life now that you were not tempted? Did you smell alcohol? And no biggy?

        So pleased for you!

I was NOT tempted, believe it or not! And yes, I smelled alcohol, and alot of it. My three boys were with me and in my room all the time. I poured out the half empty beers cans they left sitting around, they were drinking liquor at the bar - smelled their breath - YUCK! Had no desire what-so-ever! It isn't really that is a "way of life" yet. It just does not evoke a physical response from me.

In AA, lots of people with 90 days reported amazing changes in their lives. I hope they happen to you too! You deserve it! Congrats, and thanks for your posts - they've really helped me out.

Best ~ WTG! I am also very happy for you.

I have to tell you that I felt much better at day 90 than I did at 60. I hope that is the same for you. Also, I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but a lot of research shows that your brain actually starts repairing damage when one abstains from AL for at least 90 days. For me it was like a veil or a fog actually lifted. It's very hard to describe. But your brain at this point actually starts generating new cells now as well! You may find that mental clarity and focus is going to start improving.

Just trust amazing things are still happening and you are benefiting more than you will ever "actually feel" so keep up the great work!!

I am so proud of you!!!

                              Love, Me

Alcohol is simply the device between success and failure.
