    F%*ing AL Bastard took another one of my friends!

    Still can't believe it! Not a close friend, but a friend all the same. Evidently went out to celebrate her birthday--got drunk--hit a tree--wasn't wearing seatbelt--car rolled on top of her after she was ejected. Husband and 13 year old son found her just shortly after it happened!

    Makes me sick to think about it! Her son is a classmate with my son and she also leaves an 18 year old daughter! WTF!! Why does AL have to make us make such stupid choices!?:upset:

    Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry. What a tragic thing to have happened. I can't imagine the images that will be forever etched in that poor little boy's (and her husband's) minds. They will definitely be in my prayers tonight.

              I'm sorry LVT. That is terrible to think of her kids. I'm starting to think all cars should come with ignition interlock devices. We just do not realize how impaired we are and make the stupid decision to drive. It has devastated so many lives.

                          LVT, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend, and how crushed her family feels. Hearing stories like this makes us realize how it could be any of us. How are you coping? Is your son OK? We are with you in thoughts and wishes.
