I saw your post in Booze Busters and absolutely cannot believe it has been a year since you joined this site.
For those who do not know Maasai, he one incredibly brave and strong person. He lost his father to this disease and decided he did not want to follow that path.
He found a Big Book and read it. On his own.
He found MWO and came here when he could get on his school compound's computer, often in the middle of the night there in Kenya, just so he could talk and share.
He is a wonderful, brave person who is, as Neil (Xtexan) says, "A SOLAR ORBITER, which is a very special designation on MWO.
Congratulations, Maasai, and more, thank you for being here and sharing with us. Your story helps all of us.
