I called a printer to ask for a quote for our company brochure. They took down the details and said they would pop round with it and bring some samples.
Later that afternoon, our sales manager came in and said to me...
"Oh, are you looking at going on a pub crawl?"
I just looked at him dumbfounded and he then said, "Well, you've got a brochure on your desk - CMG Pubs!!!"
It had never even clicked! I'd had the thing all morning and been using it as a reference! I'd even been discussing the quote with the MD and we'd been looking at the sample saying how good it was in regards to graphics and quality and what aspects we'd probably use for ours but not even once did I register - there are loads of images and nearly every pic has booze in it!!!
