I see you are in England! I love England. I lived there for four years and visit at every opportunity!

As far as chat goes, it is usually pretty busy in the evenings. After 6PM EST, which I believe is about 1AM in the UK! Sometimes you can also catch people early in the morning. Other than that, most of us just check the boards on and off during the day. Sorry it is so inconvenient for you. Just a thought, we do have many members from the UK, you might Pm some of them and invite them to join you in chat at a time that is convenient!

Hey Minty - I'm from the UK and am usually on from around 12.30-1.30pm and other times during the day (if I think I can get away with it - at work you see!!!)
