          Just finished reading Dry by Augusten Burroughs. One point that I recognised in myself was this strange selfimposed lonelyness and isolation. Don't want to waste good drinking time on socialising and communication. I would leave a gathering of friends because I couldn't race to oblivion in company. Now with all this extra time on my hands I have realized I have lost the art of conversation..... Just another thing to work on! lol

            I'm the complete opposite. I can talk shite for England when I'm drinking!! It's only when I wasn't drinking that I used to crawl back under my rock!!. Of course I did get horrendous melancholic moments when drinking when I would just want to be alone with my thoughts and this often lead to bouts of depression I think because of the drink.

            Anyway I have no fuck'n choice these days as dolph keeps me talking on the phone for hours!!!lol So I can talk shite even when I'm not pissed these days too!!!lol "Oh the joys of sobriety!!" (I'm gonna get severely reprimanded for this comment aren't I!!!!)

                    That book is a re-read for me too. To be emotionally dependant on someone is a great fear of mine (as with his relationship with Pighead) but it's a fallacy to believe you are protecting yourself. I want an emotion chart, so at the end of the day & every single one has been ticked I can truly say "I'm a nutter"!! :H

                    Our 12th wedding anniversary today! And he is still putting up with me.........me thinks he is after a sainthood!! lol

                      Hope you have a good weekend.
                      You have a wonderful little girl and she's the only one you need to keep talking to for now.
                      What I wouldn't give to be out on a boat at sea - I used to live near the sea and I miss it.
                      Had to move in country to buy a place everywhere got so pricey.
                      By the way you are welcome over anytime for that cup of tea, now if we could just get Ryanair to do cheap flights to and from Australia we'd be flyin!. Spent three weeks in Australia for my honeymoon 8 years ago (OMG) - travelled around a bit - beautiful part of the world.
