    Topa 2nd time around

    I started up again with topamax.

    Strange thing - I notice it seems like its not nearly as effective as the first time for me. Whats up with that?

    Any thoughts?

    I noticed after taking topa for awhile that is stopped working. Maybe you should try campral instead..

        I have heard that about Topa too; that if you stop and restart it is not as effective. Wonder why?

            No Gabby, I am not taking it...I juist have read that it works for others. Can't hurt to give it a shot.

              Sorry.......I have no experience of the meds.

              Just want to wish you well. You`ll always remain one of my favourite people here, because I was a complete and utter mess when first I came to MWO.......you helped me believe that I could climb out of the alcohol abyss.......prior to that, I never considered my now AF life to be even a remote possibility.

                That was my experience the first and only time I tried recently. With much regret, I only experience the major side effects.

                  i just keep taking it no matter what. same dose, same time. cannot take more than 25 mgs..it makes me jittery as hell.

                      and star......just so you know i didnt slip up. I chose to start drinkin again and it wasnt an accident. however......i do regret it.
