    Quake near Anaheim, CA

    I'm in Anaheim and we had a 5.8 quake very nearby in Chino Hills. shook the hell out of the place and I almost got trampled by the crowd here. only one person off to the hospital that I'm aware of from falling chandelier. yikes!!!!!!!

    anyone else in south CA feel it?

    biggest quake I've ever felt by a long shot. it was shaking so hard it was difficult to walk/run.

    You had an exciting day! I wondered about bootsie and I think sheep is in that area too.

      I'm in LA- yep felt it, went on forever. Not too bad- rolling vs violent jerking. (that was the Northridge quake, all jerky) But still disconcerting. Gives the local news something to do.....

        Wow Det - I'm glad your ok. Seems where ever you go the earth is shaking!! You just have that effect on the world around you!! :H Seriously - I am glad your ok. Report aftershocks if you feel them

                  Watch yourself, if it follows the pattern of the quakes going on around the world so far you may get a bigger one really soon and then alot of aftershocks. I personally would pack up and take back roads to Arizona for a few days.

                    Best wishes to all who survived the latest quake! 5.8 is nothing to sneeze at. We get them from time to time in our area... Mont Tremblant in French means "trembling mountain" but they are generally under 5.

                            I am a 5th generation So Cal girl moved back to PA 11 years ago. The one (and only) thing I don't miss are the quakes. I lost everything in the Sierra Madre quake (we were living up there at the time - smack dab in the epicenter) and I went into remature labor for the Northridge! Done with earthquakes thank you! But I surely do miss surfing....sigh....Glad all the CA people are safe. Sending good vibes your way

                              Did anyone see that clip of The Judge Judy show? They were taping a new show when the Quake hit. Nobody was hurt, but sure shook up the court room. IAD
