WIP - I open another tab I just google for example "pengiuns" or specific for The Journey something like "big duct tape".... you have to scroll thru quite a bit because you dont get just what you specifically want, but its fun to put in what youre looking for. Then I go to images look at a the pictures pick one, click on it, click on view larger image.. go up to http address click , then ctrl click.... go back to mwo tab... post repy usually already set up, go to insert click and clear it then then ctrl v.

I know there is a photo bucket thing but cant figure it out.

AL is a sneaky coniving bastard, and he is telling you you don't belong, but YOU DO. We all have the same problem, we are all just at different places in our battle.

I am at day 4 again...if I can do it, you can, Spirit...come try with me...with all of us, OK???

I have posted some things I regret here, when drinking, or feeling so utterly hopeless I wished I were dead, because I felt so utterly out of control.
Please don't let that be a reason to stay away. Please come post to let us all know how you are, and lets us help you get stronger...YOU CAN DO THIS.

Spirit Girl, I am struggling too. This has been a really rough week between me and hubby and teenager. I know what you mean about feeling like a phony, because I swore I would do August AF and I am not doing so well with that. But I am taking some strides in some other areas.We can help you -- really!

There was a quote on the copier room door at work: "When you dig someone else out of their troubles, it helps you bury your own." That is why we are all here!

The "phony-ness" that I feel is that I post on here how wonderful being AF feels and I encourage others not to drink and what do I do??? I have a bad day and went straight to the bottle. I was angry and feeling sorry for myself and drowned my sorrrows in wine. I am a hipocrit....

I have never felt so supported and loved than I do today after reading your messages to me. I have never met you all face to face and I feel so cared about. Thank you for caring about me. I really do need you all in my life. As low as I feel, I will keep coming back because I need you all.

Glad to officially meet you! I have also followed your posts and have enjoyed what you share... Thanks for learning to post "penguin" pictures for me!!

You, know I feel like the best friends I have in my life right now are a bunch of people that I don't even know your faces. It's a remarkeable thing, actually. We are all different shapes, sizes, colors and genders and it doesn't matter!! We are friends. I have made a specal friend that I PM almost every day I don't even know where she lives!! I feel so blessed right now.

Hello all. I will confess I have NOT done a good job keeping up with this August Challenge thread, but will try to do better for the remainder of the month. I can't believe it's already August 6 the time is FLYING by. (unlike penquins, which I must back track at least enough to figure out how they figure in here!!!) enguin: enguin: enguin:

The last couple of weeks were SO busy, and it felt a bit like the stress was catching up with me. AL and Nic (nicotine) were both calling my name a bit the last few days. All I can say is that sometimes AF beer is a wonderful thing and I am very happy to be sober for August, and for 77 days.

While I try to figure out the penguin thing, I will also say that I'm grateful no skunks have taken up residence where we keep the bird seed!

Hang in there everyone. WE CAN DO THIS!!!! AF AUGUST HO!!!

Are penguins like weebles - they wobble but they don't fall down? If so, then I wanna be a penguin for August with NO falling down.
